
Melissa Smith – Director
A combination of Melissa’s desire to share her positive experience, plus the extensive academic and business achievements to date, and her own personal healing crisis in 2000 has led Melissa to the path of forming a RTO, which will assist the complementary health industry to gain further recognition and accreditation. Below is a summary of Melissa’s expertise in this area.
Melissa has been working at the Executive level in the Australian Public Service for the last 10 years. She has held positions of Director of Business Design, Director of System Implementation and Director of Training Implementation within the ATO. Her work in the Department of Employment, Education and Training included training staff in Queensland and New South Wales in a range of content from management to computer systems.
Melissa’s passion has always been to share her knowledge and experience with others and what led her to undertake the Bachelor of Adult and Vocational Teaching. On completion of this she then commenced part-time work with organisations such as Griffith University and Open Learning Institute of TAFE to lecture in business and computing subjects as well as write distance learning packages for Diploma courses in computing, management and marketing.

- 6 months (2002) at Central Queensland University taught undergraduate communication subject
- 6 years (1999 – 2005) at Open Learning Institute of TAFE wrote subjects for distance learning in marketing and computing. Also was an assessor for management subjects.
